Sunday Six: Build Better, Tweets 2 Cash, and Mid-Journey
Hello Friend 👋
Happy Sunday! I hope you sabbath’d well and are ready for the week! For sabbath, our family indulges in watermelon, naps and staying up late to watch movies. It’s a wonderful time.
This past week had some incredible highlights as well:
- Launched the new Build Better Newsletter ✉️
- I sat down with the legendary Jonathan Maloney to discuss the art direction of my new book. 📗
- Had the most incredible brunch pancakes made by my wife 🥞
- Obliterated my calendar meeting great people and helping churches with the Missio team 👏
Next week, I will send out behind-the-scenes updates on my book specifically to those who decide to be a part of the launch team! If that’s you and you’re interested, consider checking out this link for more information 🙂
Let’s dive in 🪂
Sunday Six ☀️
⚒️ Build Better Newsletter — The first issue of the Build Better Newsletter officially sent out this morning. 👏
Alongside Sunday Six, I will email out the Build Better Newsletter every single week to all the incredible entrepreneurs & business leaders out there who want in. I share 7-figure insights on sales, marketing and brand.
Sunday Six is not going anywhere. Build Better will be a place that will be business and skillset centric as I learn and grow — I want to share everything along the way with whomever it would help.

🙋♂️ 30 Rediscovering 13 — My wife revealed to me this concept of your 30’s being a decade where you rediscover your teenage years via your hobbies, interests and passions. But this time simply for the joy of it.
As opposed to in your teenage years, trying to impress or sharpen your skills based on somebody else’s pressure.
After I googled it, apparently it’s a TikTok trend. “Your 30’s is all about…”
She brought it up to me because I’ve alluded to rediscovering some of the enjoyments of my childhood.
Things like:
- Guitar
- Sneakers
- Basketball
- Video Games
These are things I spent ample amount of times and investment in my teenage years only to find myself incredibly curious about them… again. I’m not mad at it. In fact, I like the child-like curiosity.
I encourage you to do things that make you feel like a kid again.
📚 How to Live by Derek Sivers — a few of my favorite quotes from this recent read:
“When you keep all options open, you’re conflicted and miserable. Your thoughts are divided. Your power is diluted. Your time is thinly spread. Indecision keeps you shallow. Get the deeper please of diving into one choice.”
“Don’t let ideas into your head or heart without your permission.”
“Here’s your mission: nothing twice. Never eat the same food twice. Never go to the same place twice. Never hear the same thing twice. Everything only once. That’s how you experience more of the world.”
🐦 Tweets 2 Cash — Eddy Quan is one of my favorite writers on Twitter (X). He provides incredible insight into copywriting and email campaigns.
So much so that he is a one-person business making 25K+ per month in recurring revenue working 4 hours a day writing sales email.
Pretty sweet gig.
He recently did an email course titled Tweets 2 Cash on how to build online and monetize digitally. Here are a few of the key takeaways I got from his emails:
“The most valuable part of a six figure Twitter business is….. The quality of your relationships. Not just with your audience but also with other creators, influencers and entrepreneurs.”
“You must be like-able — here are 9 traits of a like-able person. You must carry at least five of them: Courage, Unfair Injury, Skill, Funny, Just Plain Nice, In Danger, Loved by Friends & Family, Hard Working, Obsessed.”
“You can build your authority and your audience AT THE SAME TIME. You don’t have to have it all figured out in the beginning.”

👨🎨 Mid-Journey on Discord — In the world of AI art, writing, design, and automation… I went downnnnn a rabbit hole for some of the best AI tools when it comes to:
- Design
- Copywriting
- Video Editing
While going down that rabbit hole, I came across a tool that was long ago shown to me by one of my close friends. And realized — this is still by far the best kept secret when it comes to AI art and design.
It’s buried on Discord servers, difficult to access but a gem to use.

📚 Billion Dollar Loser — Adam Nuemann is the founder and celebrity billionaire that co-founded the global co-working brand WeWork.
This book by Reeves Wiedeman is the story of how Nuemann skyrocketed WeWork into a $40B brand and then absolutely obliterated his own involvement in the entire organization.
It’s a wild read.
